Relax with your family and friends in our heritage stone row cottage in the Historic township of Mintaro, the heart of the Clare Valley wine region.

Lose yourself in the Mintaro Maze, wander down to the playground with the kids or cook up feast on a bbq in the courtyard.

There is plenty to do for the big kids as well! We are a short stroll from a cold beer at the country pub or sip on a wine at the 2 wineries on our street! All within a 5 minute walk.

The 1856 Mintaro Hideaway is a group of 3 heritage listed stone row cottages, all with their own private entries and facilities.
There is a shared guest courtyard with BBQ and outdoor settings under a large shady tree.

CARPENTER - 2 BEDROOMS WITH SPA

Queen brass bed in main bedroom
2 Single beds in second bedroom
Corner spa in bathroom, shower over spa bath
Lounge with log fire, 55 inch flat screen TV, basic kitchenette facilities in cupboard (2 hotplates, bar fridge, microwave, sink, kettle, toaster, basic cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery)

The Mintaro Hideaway is also the perfect place for small groups of families and friends to hire the whole place out which will give your group exclusive use of the facilities.

Please note there is patchy limited internet coverage in the area, sorry WIFI is not possible at our place

You will access your row cottage with your own key code to access your keys on site when you arrive day or night.
You have your own separate private access to your row cottage with your own bedroom, spa bathroom, lounge.

Explore and discover the history, charm and beauty of Mintaro on a self guided walk along the Mintaro Heritage Trail.
The Mintaro Maze is just around the corner and you can walk to the local pub and 2 wineries from your doorstep, on the same street!
Take a leisurely drive to one of the local Clare Valley wineries, restaurants and attractions or just relax with a glass of wine and a good book in the courtyard.
Martindale Hall is just a 15 minute drive away, or you can take a drive to explore Burra, the historic copper mining town.
Getting around
Its easy to drive around the Clare Valley in your own car.
People often bring bikes to ride along the Riesling Trail.
You can also arrange a winery tour if you don't want to drive.
